JOB PURPOSE: To facilitate the day-to-day running of the Infrared Analysis Business Unit involving website and part number updating, data tagging and some marketing and applications collateral development
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES / ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

- Planning, highlighting gaps and then updating the PerkinElmer website's IR section with up-to-date content
- Corresponding with third party accessory manufacturers to ensure existing IR part numbers and decryptions are up-to-date
- Be provided with large IR spectral libraries which are to be sorted by removing duplicates and tagging with specific end market and technology information
- Help participate in the successful launch of a new IR product involving some marketing collateral development plus potentially some applications collateral as well.
- Direct bilateral email communication with the PKI global sales team over field issues and opportunities
- Demonstrate independent and creative scientific thinking and ability in solving problems
- Be a team player involving collaboration across multiple functions
