The University’s Business School is located in the Owen G Glenn Building, and Techsite Services is a team of professional staff within the School. The team handles a wide variety of portfolios, and the receptionist is an integral part of the team. 

We are looking to appoint a receptionist on a part time, permanent basis (0.5 FTE; 18.75 hours), covering the afternoon shift starting at 3pm, Monday to Friday. 

As the first point of contact, you will play a key role in managing first impressions and providing information and support for all those visiting or communicating within the Owen G Glenn Building. You will direct and refer enquiries from staff, students and the public at the Level 1 reception desk, and provide administrative support as needed.

Who are we looking for?

  • We’re seeking a positive person with outstanding interpersonal skills, to provide professional and customer-focused reception services.
  • Previous experience in a reception or customer service role is essential.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills are required, as well as a high standard of computer literacy.
  • You will also be well organised, systematic and have excellent time management skills.
