Public Engagement Officer (Elizabeth Blackwell Institute)

This is an exciting opportunity to work on an innovative public engagement project and explore the potential of bringing art, science and the public together. 

The Fun Palaces ambassador will bring together people and knowledge from across Bristol to explore health topics. You will plan, develop, produce and evaluate a programme aimed at developing new relationships; supporting the emergence of a self-led network of volunteers, and local cultural and community leaders; and linking communities to the work of the University of Bristol and the Fun Palace campaign. You will also be part of an innovative Action Research project.

The successful candidate will have proven experience in a liaison or partnership role and in developing, managing and evaluating projects from inception to completion, as well as a solid understanding of the different approaches and methods of engaging public with research.

The first action research meeting is 4th May. If possible please keep this date available. Availability will not be asked during the application process and will not affect our decision.
