• International student admissions

The Role

This Compliance Officer is responsible for the operation and monitoring of various international admissions processes which ensure compliancy with specific obligations under, as appropriate, the ESOS Act (including associated legislation), the requirements of the Department of Immigration and Border Protection (DIBP), and the rules of the University.

The Compliance Officer is a member of the International Admissions team within UQ International and will work closely with the Deputy Manager (Policy & Quality) and International Admissions Manager.

The Person

You should have completed an advanced diploma with subsequent relevant experience or possess an equivalent combination of relevant experience and/or education/training. The appointee is expected to have high-level administration skills; excellent oral and written communication and interpersonal skills; database skills and computer literacy; demonstrated experience in researching information, analyzing and presenting findings, and making recommendations. High-level of accuracy and attention to detail in implementing policy and procedures are also required. Knowledge and understanding of the legislative environment of international education and experience in international education at tertiary level are desirable.

Remuneration

This is a full-time, continuing appointment at HEW Level 5. The remuneration package will be in the range $64,597 - $72,348 per annum plus employer superannuation contributions of up to 17%
