Job Details

Are you an excellent communicator, with experience of working in the field of communications? Do you have excellent IT skills, with the ability to use, for example, the Microsoft Office suite, social media platforms, professional desktop publishing software and imaging editing software? Are you able to communicate effectively with a wide range of people, in a professional and approachable manner?

As Communications Coordinator, you will support and develop the School website and associated communication materials, and promote the School and its activities both internally and externally. Reporting to the Head of School, you will work closely with colleagues across the University, including the Faculty Marketing Team, University Alumni Office and Press Office. The role will include updating the School website and associated information, and maintaining social media channels to current and potential students and staff audiences.

With prior experience of working in the field of communications, you will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to communicate effectively and accurately with a wide range of people in a professional, approachable and polite manner. You will also have excellent IT skills and experience in; word processing, use of spreadsheets and databases, content management systems, social media platforms, and professional desktop publishing software.
