An exciting opportunity has arisen within our Property Services team which is responsible for providing a leading facilities management, planning and development service to one of Auckland’s largest and most diverse property portfolios.  We are looking for two Building Services Technicians to help manage our significant property assets to ensure optimal operations of building and plant. Reporting to the Senior Building Services Technician, and working with an experienced team, you will be a self-motivated individual with the ability to effectively initiate and carry out a wide range of investigative and remedial duties directly impacting the operation, compliance and efficiency of the University’s property assets. You will apply your skills in a very large work environment utilising available resources including computer-based building management systems. You will strive to exceed the demanding requirements and be confident in reporting outcomes.

To be successful in this position you will possess a Technical trade qualification with an understanding of HVAC, electronic and digital control systems and have a demonstrated track record within facilities maintenance or building services.  This will have been gained in a complex environment where continuity of operations is critical.  You will have been exposed to and be confident with MS office applications and databases.

The following attributes will be second nature to you, excellent verbal and written communication skills, sound professional judgment and decision making ability.  You will be customer focused with the ability to build and maintain effective working relationships.
