Job Details

My client is a Market Leader in Molecualr Diagnostics and is looking for a German-based territory manager to become a part of their ever expanding company. This role will, therefore, present you with the perfect opportunity to work for an established name in the field of diagnostics, which, in turn, can open up many opportunities for the future, especially if you're wanting to establish yourself as a specialist in the industry.

In addition to this, the fact that my client has an extensive pipeline of innovative products focusing within areas, such as infectious diseases and virology, means that you will get the chance to present your clients with an array of solutions based on the needs of their business. This flexibility, thus, makes your task of selling products to clients a whole lot easier.

Requirements:

  • Responsible for managing and growing business in existing and new Cepheid accounts
  • Expands menu utilization in existing accounts
  • Sells additional instrumentation to customers
  • Negotiates and manages contracts
  • Introduces new testing concepts and products
  • Develops demand for and adoption of new assays
  • Develops and implements customer -specific action plans
  • Works closely with Field Application Specialists to develop sales strategies
  • Develops and delivers presentations and proposals
  • Hosts and assists with product shows
  • Manages customer data in the company database
  • Achieves sales goals

Skills and Experience

  • 2-5 years sales experience in hospital or clinical laboratory markets, experience with PCR desirable
  • Strong track record of sales success, specifically in selling premium product
  • Expertise with demand creation and multi-departmental hospital sales
  • Experience with customer base within territory is a plus
  • Strengths in networking and relationship development
  • Strong oral and written communications skills
  • Bachelor's degree
  • Skilled in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint applications
  • Skilled using a CRM application such as Microsoft Dynamics or Salesforce.com
  • Location - within territory(Leipzig, Hannover or Hamburg)
  • Position is field based, requires travel in line with business needs
  • Fluent in English and German
