Academic Services - Scholarships

The Scholarships Office sits within Academic Services and is responsible for the payment of around $40M in Scholarships, Prizes and Awards each year.

We are seeking a competent, energetic, empathetic person who is able to provide scholarships advice to current and prospective University of Auckland students and undertake administrative services related to scholarships, prizes and awards. 

The ideal candidate will need to have excellent attention to detail, preferably a degree-level education and have several years’ experience in administration.  You will enjoy working in a busy role that is challenging, diverse and rewarding.

There is a wide portfolio associated with this position. The ability to create a rapport with students and stakeholders is essential.  Preference will be given to candidates with a good understanding of Microsoft Office, Oracle Service Cloud and online application systems.

Changing priorities and varied duties will encourage you to continue developing your strong organisational abilities and communication skills in a collaborative team environment.  On-going professional development courses are available and continuous improvement is encouraged.
