Job Details

Can you provide technical support to exciting research projects in reproductive biology and pathology? Are you looking to broaden your horizons and contribute to projects with a commercial edge?

This is an opportunity to join the Women’s Health Research Group; supporting our programme of research investigating the early establishment of pregnancy for one of our commercial partners (Ostara Biomedical). Additionally, this role will involve contributing to the team’s work into the pathophysiology of reproductive disorders, which focuses on the development of novel strategies for their prevention, early detection and management.

With a BSc degree in a relevant biomedical field (or an equivalent qualification), you will have experience in technician level research in a biological/medicine-related field.  You will also be able to work proactively and independently; demonstrating effective organisation skills and experience of delivering outputs under pressure to meet agreed deadlines. A Home Office Personal License is essential.

You will be encouraged to develop your initiative and independence and will be given opportunities for career development. The post is located in the Wellcome Trust Brenner building at St. James’s University Hospital.
