Job Details
This is an opportunity to join the Women’s Health Research Group; supporting our programme of research involving digital image analysis of skin and other cancers for one of our US-based commercial partners (4D Path). This project aims to develop machine learning-based approaches to diagnostics and prognostication in addition to contributing to the team’s work in the broader context of cancers and the pathophysiology of reproductive disorders.
With a BSc degree in a relevant biomedical field (or an equivalent qualification), you will have experience in technician level research in a biological/medicine-related field. You will also be able to work proactively and independently; demonstrating effective organisation skills and experience of delivering outputs under pressure to meet agreed deadlines.
You will be encouraged to develop your initiative and independence and will be given opportunities for career development. The post is located in the Wellcome Trust Brenner building at St. James’s University Hospital.
