Job Details

This project falls under the ‘Biocatalysis and Biotransformation’ theme of the Catalysis Hub. The UK Catalysis Hub is a consortium of universities involved in catalysis research around the UK (www.ukcatalysishub.co.uk). The main purpose of the role is to use computational chemistry to provide fundamental insight into the reactivity of enzymes and related systems, thus underpinning the experimental work carried out in groups affiliated with the Catalysis Hub. This position is to carry out research in molecular simulation and multiscale modelling relevant to catalysis, under the supervision of Professor Mulholland; to analyse and present results, including preparing them for publication, and to liaise with the other collaborators involved in the research project, including demonstrating computational molecular methods.

The post is available on a full time basis, with fixed funding confirmed until 31st May 2018. More information about the role can be found in the job description. For informal enquiries, please contact Prof. Adrian Mulholland: Adrian.Mulholland@bristol.ac.uk or Tel: +44-(0)117 925 0612.

The University is committed to creating and sustaining a fully inclusive culture.  We welcome applicants from all backgrounds and communities.
