Public Engagement Evaluation Officer

This is an opportunity to join a team dedicated to engaging the public with the University of Bristol’s research and teaching. The Public Engagement team builds capacity for engagement across the University, embeds engagement in our structures and processes, works with staff and students to develop and carry out their public engagement ideas, and runs a programme of innovative engagement activities.

The post holder will provide evaluation and impact expertise and analysis to help us make the most of our public engagement activities.  This will involve providing advice and training to academics on incorporating evaluation and measurement into their engagement activities and plans; analysing current and previous impact case studies and making recommendations for future activity; supporting the PE team in evaluating our own programme of engagement; and identifying and sharing good practice in the sector with colleagues.  If you have experience of designing and planning evaluation, a good understanding of impact and are keen to join our lively and enthusiastic team, we look forward to hearing from you.
