Minimum Requirements

BN or BNS leading GNSA

Post Basic Diploma in Occupational Health

Registration with the South African Nursing Council

Practising License/Dispensary license and VCT/HCT

PHC and understanding of general and campus health

Knowledge of medical conditions

Ability to assess, diagnose and treat minor ailments

Stabilisation of emergencies
-
Dispense medicine
-
Screening of diseases and infection control
-
Possess good communication skills
-
Problem solving skills

Computer proficiency and literacy

Good report writing and statistical analysis
