The School of Psychology is one of the most prestigious schools of psychology in Australia, and its strong reputation is built on excellence in both research and teaching. The role

The successful applicant will contribute to curriculum development for the Honours year in Psychology, including developing a new placement course focusing on learning in applied settings, participating in a restructure of the Honours curriculum, and supervising students individually and in groups. The position also involves independent research, undergraduate and postgraduate teaching, and a contribution to the governance of the School.

The person

Applicants should have a PhD in Psychology, a deep understanding of the principles of learning, teaching and curriculum design, experience teaching psychology at tertiary level, and the ability to supervise honours and postgraduate research students. The successful candidate will have the ability to pursue a productive program of research and publish research outcomes in high quality outlets.

Remuneration

This is a full-time, fixed term appointment for two years at Academic level B. The remuneration package will be in the range $92,142 - $109,419 p.a., plus employer superannuation contributions of up to 17% (total package will be in the range $107,807 - $128,020 p.a.).
