School of Agriculture and Food Sciences

The Role

To provide technical support for teaching and research in animal science. The position is responsible for supervision of facilities used by the Animal Science group as well as supporting practical classes in animal biology, molecular biology and related courses.  The role supports, maintains and operates laboratory and field equipment, and provides induction and training as required.  Although a member of the Animal Science technical team, the role may be required to support teaching and research in other discipline areas. This role is based at the Gatton Campus and reports to the Technical Services Coordinator.

Remuneration

This is a full-time fixed term appointment at HEW 5, located at Gatton Campus, for a period up to 12 August 2017, with possible extension.  

The remuneration for Academic Level B will be in the range $64,597.80 - $72,348.94 p.a., plus employer superannuation contributions of up to 9.5% (total package will be 70,734.59 - $70,734.59 p.a.).
