Silicon Photonics Research Group
We are seeking an experienced and motivated technician in the field of silicon photonics to provide technical support to the research group in all aspects of photonic device fabrication and operation of cleanroom equipment. The successful candidate will join a team of approximately 40 researchers focussing on the field of Silicon Photonics, based at the Optoelectronics Research Centre, University of Southampton, UK.
Applicants should have a strong technical support background, ideally in a similar cleanroom environment. Experience of providing training and guidance to colleagues in the use of technical equipment is preferable.
Salary will be up to £28,452 depending on experience and the post will be for up to 3 years in duration.
