The University of Bristol is continuing to expand its established strengths in Cardiovascular Science.

As part of this commitment the School of Physiology, Pharmacology & Neuroscience wishes to appoint and outstanding individual with an internationally recognised track record in this discipline.  The individual will join a vibrant School and complement our current research strengths, which range from molecular and cellular studies through to clinical investigations.  The successful applicant will contribute to our undergraduate teaching and flagship postgraduate training.  The successful applicant joins a larger Bristol CardioVascular community within the university and associated NHS Trusts and will also contribute to shaping the flagship Bristol Heart Institute recently introduced by the university as a strategic research initiative.
