Location: Princess Anne Hospital, Southampton

Salary:  £32,156 to £56,875 per annum

Full Time Fixed Term (for up to 4 years)

Clinical Lecturer post in Obstetrics and Gynaecology (SpR Grade, NIHR recognition as ACL pending) at University Hospital Southampton NHS FoundationTrust.

This post, offers an exciting opportunity to develop your clinical and academic career. You should be qualified in medicine, with qualifications including a PhD or equivalent, and you will be expected to have an established track record in clinical/basic science.

You will be a committed clinical academic and engaged in research within the Faculty’s Academic Unit of Human Development and Health (www.som.soton.ac.uk/research). Approximately 50% of the weekly activity will be devoted to academic activity.  You will be expected to apply for support for a research program from one of the appropriate funding bodies. An SpR contract and NTN will be provided by Wessex Deanery. Clinical duties will be appropriate for the stage of clinical training.
