The Student Lifecycle Support Programme (SLSP) has a vacancy for a full time Data and Reporting Specialist. SLSP is a complete redevelopment of our applicant and student process and systems environment at the University.

You will lead the development of a suite of applicant and student-related management information and operational reports and contribute to the overall Reporting Strategy for the Programme.

You are a Business Intelligence/Information Management professional used to reporting on large datasets using enterprise reporting packages. Experience of developing and delivering management information through Microsoft (SQL Server) Reporting Platform is essential, as is competency in constructing queries using SQL. You will have strong analytical skills, able to translate user requirements into reports with consistent presentation and high-quality data visualisation.

Experience of report development in a Higher Education institution or a transformation programme is desirable, as is experience of developing reports in Business Objects.

The Data and Reporting Specialist will be a key member of the Reporting Workstream, within an overall programme team of over 40 people, which includes Project Managers, Business Analysts, Subject-Matter Experts, and other project professionals.

The SLSP Data and Reporting Specialist post is available on a fixed term, full time basis until September 2018.
