Job Details

The Lee Kong Chian School of Medicine (LKCMedicine) is a partnership between two of the world’s premier institutions of higher education, Imperial College London and Nanyang Technological University (NTU), Singapore. The medical school, established at NTU in Singapore, offers a five-year MBBS degree jointly awarded by both institutions. The School welcomed its first cohort of medical students in August 2013 and there are ambitious plans for growth.
The School’s research strategy is based on four key disease themes in Metabolic Disorders, Infection and Immunity, Neuroscience and Mental Health, and Dermatology and Skin Biology, with cross-cutting themes in Genome Stability,  Developmental and Regenerative Biology, Population and Global Health and Primary Care research , providing potential for synergistic interdisciplinary research with top-class research and healthcare institutes.
The School now invites applicants with an international reputation in both research and education in Neuroscience and Mental Health to apply for the position, which will be based full-time in Singapore. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the development of research and teaching in an innovative new medical school in a globally vibrant environment. The appointee is expected to undertake internationally competitive research in neuroscience and mental health including mental disorders. Reporting to Vice-Dean Research, the appointee is also expected to undertake teaching and educational responsibilities for the training of medical students and postgraduate research students.
