Job Details
Job Purpose
To create and contribute to the creation of knowledge by undertaking full scale and conceptual model development for two BBSRC funded projects investigating the behaviour of a range of cereal crops in high wind speed / rainfall conditions, both in the UK and overseas.
Person Specification
- • First degree in an engineering / scientific / mathematical discipline and a higher degree relevant to research area.
- • Ability to develop conceptual models of physical systems
- • Ability to communicate complex information clearly
- • Expertise in carrying out field measurements
- • Ability to assess resource requirements and use resources effectively
- • Understanding of and ability to contribute to broader management/administration processes
