The School of Social Sciences at USC is known for its enthusiastic students, committed teaching staff and leading researchers. Our programs include opportunities for independent research projects, work integrated learning including internships and overseas study, and all professional programs are externally accredited.
Within the Faculty of Arts, Business and Law, the School plays a key role in a Faculty that seeks to make a difference in our region and globally through research, learning and teaching, and engagement with our communities. With a commitment to teaching excellence, a mutually supportive work and study environment, and a willingness and capacity to create, identify and seize opportunities, the School and the Faculty are committed to providing outstanding learning experiences for students and undertaking research that provides real benefits.
The Head of the School of Social Sciences will bring a focus on the achievement of growth and expansion for the School whilst maintaining quality and professional accreditation standards and ensuring an outstanding student experience. The prime role will be to exercise leadership, demonstrate vision and empower others in order to deliver the agreed goals of the Faculty and ensure it achieves the highest possible standards of excellence in all its activities.
