Software Integration Engineer

PerkinElmer, a global company and leader in newborn screening is hiring!

The Software Integration Engineer position requires you to lead collaboration efforts with colleagues and customers to find solutions related to Newborn Screening software and databases. This position requires you to be the problem solver, fixer, and supporter for our customers. The Software Integration Engineer must have the ability to anticipate what questions customers will have about features and functionality and have the ability to effectively communicate them to both technical and non-technical audiences.

A successful Software Integration Engineer has database experience, strong technical skills and strong customer service orientation.

Responsibilities:

• Independently understand how to install, configure, validate, use the software, and effectively make changes without causing negative impact on other components.
• Perform database services including migrations, custom reporting and scripting in a manner that meets or exceeds customer expectations.
• Ability to work in a team environment through collaboration to identify issues and determine resolution to meet customer requests.
• Provide training sessions & technical customer support.
• Consistently and proactively create new documentation for team knowledgebase containing relevant and actionable content to more efficiently execute services projects.
