Job Details
As a Lecturer, you will carry out research, teaching and management within the school, faculty and university and to contribute to academic leadership in the field of Architecture and Architectural Engineering.
The School of Civil Engineeringis globally renowned for its teaching, research and engagement with industry and government. It is one of the largest and longest established Civil Engineering schools in the UK with just over 650 students from over 70 countries. With a vision and drive to develop a prestigious internationally competitive research portfolioas well as a passion for undertaking research-led teaching, you will make a significant impact on the performance, stature and profile of research and student education in the School in the field of Architecture and Architectural Engineering.
Talented, enthusiastic and motivated, you will either hold a PhD in Architecture or a related subject or have a significant demonstrated track record of applied research of international standing in relevant subject areas, and ideally be a fully registered Architect with the UK Architects Registration Board (ARB), or have a recognised equivalent qualification. You will have a demonstrated commitment to excellence in teaching at undergraduate and masters levels, along with experience of supervising architecture design projects.
