Analytical Technician, Chemical Laboratory

The School of Civil Engineering is globally renowned for its teaching, research and engagement with industry and government. It is one of the largest and longest established Civil Engineering schools in the UK with just over 650 students from over 70 countries.

In this varied and interesting role, you will be based in our state-of-the-art laboratories, with responsibility for the routine operation of the Sample Preparation Laboratory, containing a suite of equipment designed to process a diverse range of materials to a range of particle sizes. You will also assist in the Chemical Analysis laboratories, under the direction of the Lead Technician.

We are looking for a professional, enthusiastic and motivated individual with ability to work alone and as part of a team of analytical technicians. Communicative, organised, flexible and committed, you must have a positive, proactive approach to your work.
