Minimum Requirements

• Appropriate teaching qualification

• In possession of or busy with Post Graduate qualification

• Appropriate qualifications in EGD (Engineering Graphics and Design) and Mechanical Technology and Electrical Technology education

Job Specification

• 1 year applicable teaching experience

• 1 year applicable teaching experience in higher education

• Experience in EGD (Engineering Graphics and Design) and/or CAD (Computer Aided Design)

• Mechanical Technology – Fitting and Turning as well as Automotive

• Electrical Technology – Electronics and Electricians work

• Civil Technology

• Computer literacy in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) as well as email and internet

• Teaching of technology and the use thereof in education

• Teaching in distance mode

• Ability to work in a team

• Communication with students, academic and support staff

• Sustain professional relationships between students, academic and support staff

• Demonstration of language proficiency in order to function optimally in the various multilingual environments of the NWU

TOTAL REMUNERATION PACKAGE: Market related
