Job Details
The School of Cellular and Molecular Medicine is looking to appoint an enthusiastic and professional Student Administration Manager to lead the School’s undergraduate teaching team.
The School has around 300 undergraduate students and with the introduction of a new Biomedical Sciences programme in September 2017 the student numbers will increase to over 500. The undergraduate programmes we offer reflect our standing as an internationally recognised centre of excellence in the research areas of cancer biology, immunology, bacteriology, virology, regenerative medicine and stem cell biology.
You will need a good understanding of the systems and processes for teaching and learning at the University, as well as strong organisation and management skills to support and enable the team to deliver an excellent service to students and teaching staff.
Excellent communication skills will be needed and you will have the tact and empathy to form productive working relations with a wide range of colleagues and students. You will be able to work effectively under pressure, and manage varying deadlines and workloads effectively – both your own and those of colleagues.
The role is permanent full time and available immediately.
For an informal discussion about the role, please contact Mia Khan, School Manager, (email: Mia.Khan@bristol.ac.uk; tel: (0117) 331 2017).
The University is committed to creating and sustaining a fully inclusive culture. We welcome applicants from all backgrounds and communities.
