Job Details

The Service Line - Children’s Hospital is committed to providing state-of-the-art clinical services to children. It imparts high quality undergraduate and postgraduate training as well. It consists of a group of dedicated full-time and part-time faculty. Besides the outpatient clinics, the inpatient set-up consists of a paediatric ward with two units comprising of 84 beds, a dedicated 5-bedded area for paediatric neurology, a neonatal unit with facility of admitting 18 neonates along with ventilator support at a time, a dedicated paediatric ICU and post cardiac ICU and round the clock critical care looked after by fully trained paediatric medical and nursing staff.

Responsibilities

You will be responsible for: 

  • providing safe, competent, inpidualized holistic care to patients and their family
  • work as resource person for patients and their families and physicians
  • participating actively in imparting patients/ family education and support
  • make rounds with consultants and participate in family sessions
  • demonstrating efficiency in use of electronic monitoring equipment.


Requirements

You should have: 

  • diploma in Nursing from an accredited school; Baccalaureate Degree in Nursing (BScN) would be preferred
  • at least two years of related work experience 
  • valid license from Pakistan Nursing Council
  • Certifications in Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR), Safe Medication Administration, I/V Cannulation, First Aid /Trauma Course and Aseptic Techniques
  • excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • willingness to work in all shifts (morning, evening and night).
