Student Services - Employer Engagement Team
We are seeking a proactive Client Services Advisor to join the Careers & Employability Service, working within the Employer Engagement Team, to grow and develop our offering to students.
Your focus will be to support the growth of our Work Experience Programmes, in particular the Excel Southampton Internship Programme, working to bring on board new employers to increase the number of opportunities for students locally, nationally and globally. Relationship management is a key part of this role, strengthening existing partnerships both across the University and externally with employers to increase the opportunities available to our students. It is likely the successful candidate will be motivated by KPIs, driven by achieving targets and will have proven experience in business development and/or sales.
You will also raise awareness of the opportunities available across our 25,000 strong student body and ensure information to employers and students is readily available; regularly reviewing policies and processes to be fit for purpose.
The successful candidate will possess excellent customer service and sales skills, time and project management and communication skills (both written and verbal) as well as be competent in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook).
