The senior research associate (SRA) will work on the application of Mendelian randomization to determining causality of targets and biomarkers. The work will centre on a novel analytical platform and database (MR-Base) developed within the IEU. The SRA will work on a combination of development/implementation of novel methods within MR-Base, application of MR to specific targets and automated in silico biomarker screening using MR.
The successful applicant will have experience of applied statistical analysis, ideally working with genetic association study data, and will be qualified to the PhD level (or equivalent) in a cognate discipline.
