Senior Lecturer/Reader in Economics

The Department of Economics at the University of Bristol is seeking to fill a number of posts with high calibre, research-active staff as a result of growth in undergraduate and postgraduate programmes.

The Department has an international reputation for excellence in research and teaching. In the most recent UK-wide Research Excellence Framework, the Department was ranked sixth for the quality of research and first for the impact of its research. The strengths of the current Department include econometrics, applied microeconomics, labour economics, economic theory, and growth and development, often with a distinctive emphasis on policy impact and interdisciplinary research.

We are looking to recruit to Senior Lecturer and Reader in Economics. Applicants should have a strong research background evidenced by a track record of publishing in top international journals and the potential to deliver academic leadership. They should also be able to demonstrate excellent teaching and curriculum development at undergraduate and/or masters level.
