Job Details

Are you an ambitious researcher looking for your next challenge?  Do you have a background in health services or social care research?  Do you want to further your career in one of the UK’s leading research intensive Universities?

An opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic Research Fellow to work on an exciting research study funded by the National Institute for Health Research (NIHR).

This mixed methods study will, for the first time in the UK, examine the relationship between deployment of the care home workforce (and associated skill mix) and the impact on quality of care; outcomes for residents, relatives and staff; and the use of financial resources. The study will make an important contribution to health and social care and methodological development in this field.

You will have a first degree and PhD in a subject area relating to health services research/applied health research or social care. You will also have relevant post-doctoral research experience in an academic or relevant health care or social care setting.
