Job Details

The Director of Teaching and Digital Learning (English) will provide strategic and operational leadership in English teaching in the School of Humanities. S/he will act as Programme Director for the BA in English Literature (with additional responsibility for joint-honours undergraduate courses). S/he will provide leadership in contributing to new initiatives such as Bristol Futures and Arts 2020 and ensure that performance and operational plans for English teaching are developed and achieved. S/he will also teach, at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels, undertake independent scholarship on English-related research and/ or pedagogy and provide a lead in the area of digital learning.

Salary: Starting salary £49,772 - £55,998
