Pharma Head of purchasing role - Germany second largest city

Today my client is one of the world's major independent chemicals marketing enterprises with more than 100 subsidiaries, sales offices and participations in over 30 countries. Its specific local knowledge guarantees access to the major markets worldwide.

As a key position in this distribution company, you will be able to influence the business success, buying the right services for the right prices, improving profit and customer satisfaction, not only ensuring the company's success but your own one as well.

Working in close collaboration with the department of technical project management, you will be in charge of building strategic partnerships with pharmaceuticals services providers such as:

• Contract manufacturing organization
• Contract research organization
• Laboratory services

For a successful application, you need to have at least five years of purchasing services (CMO) in the pharmaceutical industry, preferably in the Generics area. You will also need to prove some managerial experience, and a strong willingness to develop and grow your team.
