Applications are invited for a permanent post in Law, at Level 4/5 (Lecturer). The Law School is seeking to strengthen its research and teaching base in private law, especially in Property Law, Equity and Trusts, and other core areas of the undergraduate curriculum.
Research in the School currently clusters around several areas represented by centres such as, the Centre for Law, Policy and Society (CLPS), and the centre for Private and Commercial Law, as well as Institutes of Law and the Web (ILAWS), Health Ethics and Law (HEAL), and Maritime Law (IML). Colleagues are also involved in individual and collaborative scholarship in numerous other fields, often inter-disciplinary.
The successful applicant should have the ability to contribute to research, teaching and public engagement, and have the potential to build a sustained record of outstanding legal research and publication at an international level. You will be expected to make an all-round contribution to the success of the School and to be a collegiate member contributing to its administration.
