Job Details
Responsibilities: The deputy head is responsible for the operational management of the CMG-EC, in close collaboration with the head of the Inserm team who is also the director of the CMG-EC. He/she also oversees the coordination of all studies and ensures coordination between each profession/trade in the CMG-EC. The mission is carried out within a group of fifty people, in which fifteen clinical trials and cohort studies are permanently coordinated.
Activities:
- Supervise and coordinate project teams
- Monitor the operational progress of clinical trials and cohorts in close collaboration with project managers
- Contribute to the overall strategy according to the outline and methods in place for clinical trials and cohorts studies managed by the CMG-EC, in liaison with the methodologists involved in projects and the head of the Inserm team; participate in drafting of clinical trial and cohort protocols
- Assist in preparing reports and writing scientific publications
- Define adequate human and material resources in close collaboration with representatives from each profession and/or project managers, organise the recruitment of contractual staff
- Organise staff annual performance reviews
- Adapt working methods and information technology tools in line with scientific and technological developments and regulatory standards
- Contribute to define and improve the quality policy of the CMG-EC, in close collaboration with the quality manager
