AgChem Industry - R&D and Regs Manager - Home-Office

This is excellent position for a senior candidate who is looking to become part of a fast growing company and help to push them forward to the next phase. In this position you will report straight to the CEO and be in charge of bringing new products to market. In charge of both the R&D and regulatory team, you will have a huge impact on strategic decisions and really have the chance to put your personal stamp of the future of the business.

The company is ramping up their investments in R&D, give you strong resources to expand their current portfolio of crop protection and biocide products for the consumer market and be part of their future growth.

Your main tasks include:

• collaborate with sales and marketing, to decide and prioritize the kind of new product development across the company
• be in charge of the new product development projects, manage the development team and meet the goals in a timely way, within budget
• Responsibility over the existing product regulations
• Responsibility over the new product registrations, clearly communicating the effect and consequences to the business
• Maintain chemical product quality with internal and external manufacturing partners
• Be in charge of the development, regulatory and quality team, to meet the companies objectives, to your best abilities

The company has offices in UK, Belgium and Netherlands. You have the chance to combine home-office, with regular travels to these locations.

To be successful you need:

• To have proven experience bringing chemicals to market (biocides and/or plant protection products)
• To understand the regulatory difficulties involved with new product development and be able to communicate this in a clear way across the business
• Strong leader skills and have the capacities to manage an international team
• Freedom to travel once a while to meet different technical staff, production facilities, regulatory authorities, customers and supply partners
• To be fluent in English (Dutch is an advantage)
