The UQ Business School's mission is "to be courageous thinkers who empower future leaders to positively transform business and society." Responsible for owning and driving this mission, the Head of the UQ Business School is an autonomous role with responsibility for leading a prestigious, research intensive school with over 350 staff and 9100 students. The role calls for a decisive, experienced leader with proven management skills and the ability to engage and motivate staff.  The Head of School should be capable of working closely with other members of the Faculty executive to integrate research outcomes and help deliver the highest quality, work ready graduates.

The successful candidate will need a strong track record of research and an international perspective as the Business School continues to strengthen its focus on Asia Pacific. They should also be adept at networking and engagement, as well as demonstrating ability to build links both across the University and with business, industry and government.
