The University of Bristol’s Department of Philosophy seeks a 0.5 Teaching Fellow in Philosophy.

The purpose of the post is to provide 0.5 FTE cover for Professor Havi Carel, for her work on the Wellcome Trust-funded Life of Breath project (www.lifeofbreath.org). The appointed person will provide teaching and perform teaching-associated duties; they will also be expected to provide MA Independent Study essay supervision and UG dissertation supervision and to provide pastoral care for UG students.

The postholder will be expected to handle administrative work related to his or her teaching, such as filling in marking and moderation forms, posting teaching materials on BlackBoard, and responding to student emails. They will be expected to carry out the marking associated with their teaching in a timely fashion.
