Head of Group Regulatory Affairs - Leadership
Our client is a leading consumer products organisation offering an interesting set of services within industry. As a service led organisation, they have a rich history of established products and established raw material ranges. This breadth of products, raw materials and substances on offer suggest anybody joining will have a broad product range to be exposed to. In a leadership function, this is a position for somebody from any regulatory background (ideally FMCG) who can demonstrate leadership strength.
As Head of Regulatory, you primary role is to lead the regulatory team and a team of 6 regulatory managers. This group is heavily involved in regulatory assessments as well as regulatory strategy which will play a central function to your role.
Leading a team of 6 Regulatory managers across 3 countries offers a fantastic opportunity to lead internationally. Your responsibilities will be in a cross category product position using your expertise to provide guidance.
As a regulatory leader and strategist, you will look to continue improving processes and adapt to changing legislation. Factoring in other business units in our decisions will be crucial to your regulatory compliance function.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
Educated to degree or masters level in biological or chemical or similar science discipline.
At Least 5 years experience managing teams in a Regulatory Environment - a regulatory heavy weight.
Extensive understanding of key European legislation of relevance to the consumer product market will be ideal.
Ability to form strong partnerships with multiple customers and functions- globally
Demonstrated experience of preparing product risk assessments and developing risk mitigation solutions.
Fluent in English, second language desirable
