Job Details

Our client, a German midsize pharmaceutical company focused on Special Therapeutics/Pain, is currently looking for a Teamleader in Regulatory Affairs Intelligence for its office near Cologne and close to the Dutch border. You would have the chance to cooperate with several different departments and gain experience managing a team of Regulatory Affairs Specialists. Furthermore, the products you would be working with are known and distributed world-wide.

Some of the responsibilities would be the following:

  • Monitor trends and upcoming changes in the regulatory environment and evaluate their impact for the company
  • Provide strategic regulatory input and guidance in the pre-due diligence phase (focusing on risks, mitigations and opportunities)
  • Take a leading role in engaging with internal and external key stakeholders to drive and shape policy initiatives, making best possible use of networking/ advocacy opportunities
  • In close collaboration with the global regulatory project lead, participate in key scientific advice meetings and coordinate overarching portfolio advice meetings
  • Deliver regular updates, educate and share knowledge in order to foster regulatory expertise and decision-making
  • Cooperate with subsidiaries, external partners and health authorities

Minimum Requirements

  • Several years of work experience within Regulatory Affairs
  • Good organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to work well cross-functionally
  • A good understanding of European and global regulatory requirements (e.g. FDA)
  • Deep knowledge of pre-clinical and clinical research
  • Leading R&D projects
