School of Graduate Studies

Are you an efficient administrator who thrives in a busy team environment?

The School of Graduate Studies at the University of Auckland is looking for a Postgraduate Administrator to join us for a fixed term role until June 2018. Our small team in the Graduate Centre is responsible for key processes that support doctoral students across the University. This pivotal role provides reception duty as well as administrative support to the School of Graduate Studies by processing documentation, monitoring student progress, and communicating with students and staff across the University to support the Postgraduate Advisors. The role also provides general administration support to the team.

To be successful in this role you will need excellent organisational skills, great attention to detail and be able to work well under pressure. You will enjoy working within a small team where flexibility is essential, and have a pro-active and service-focused approach.

You will preferably have experience working in a large complex organisation, and familiarity with information management systems.

The University is committed to meeting its obligations under the Treaty of Waitangi and achieving equity outcomes for staff and students in a safe, inclusive and equitable environment.  For further information on services for Māori, Pacific, women, LGBTI, equity groups, parenting support and flexible work go to www.equity.auckland.ac.nz.

This is a professional staff level 3 position, fixed term until June 2018.
