Teaching Space Management
Leading edge teaching facilities are a key part of UQ's distinctive student experience. Teaching Space Management provides administrative support for the effective management of centrally controlled teaching facilities and coordinates the production of the class timetable.
The role
The Team Leader provides support to the Manager by coordinating the core functions related to the management of the Teaching Space Management Unit, including production of the University's class timetables across all sites and over site of centrally controlled teaching space operations. The role will be responsible for the day to day supervision of 5 staff within the Unit.
The person
Applicants should have a degree with subsequent relevant experience, or a combination of relevant experience and education/training. You should have well-developed organisational, analytical and problem solving skills, and an ability to innovate and exercise informed judgement within a business context. High level leadership, strong interpersonal and communication skills are required, including the ability to communicate effectively with a wide variety of stakeholders.
Knowledge of University timetabling and room booking practices as well as experience with Syllabus Plus Enterprise Foundation would be advantageous.
Remuneration
This is a full-time, continuing appointment at HEW Level 6. The remuneration package will be in the range $74,207 - $79,964 p.a., plus employer superannuation contributions of up to 17% (total package will be in the range $86,822 - $93,558 p.a.).
