Intern (contract appointment: 1 year)

Duties and responsibilities:
- Conduct interviews for the project titled: “Mediational intervention for sensitising care givers”.
- Assist with KABC interviews.
- Assist with Excel and SPSS databases.
- Assist with general fieldwork at the Centre for Development Support.
- Translate qualitative work from Sesotho to English.
- Relevant B-degree.
- Language proficiency in Sesotho.
Required competencies:
- Computer literacy.
- Good interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to function with ease in the University's richly diverse working environment.
- Punctuality.
- Self-organised.
- Understand “Mediational intervention for sensitizing care givers” (MISC).
The following criteria apply to the selection of candidates:
- Not currently participating in an existing learnership /internship programme.
- Willing to sign a learnership / internship agreement with the UFS.
- Candidate must be available for a period of one (1) year.
Assumption of duties:
1 May 2017.
