Duties and responsibilities:

  • Conduct interviews for the project titled: “Mediational intervention for sensitising care givers”.
  • Assist with KABC interviews.
  • Assist with Excel and SPSS databases.
  • Assist with general fieldwork at the Centre for Development Support.
  • Translate qualitative work from Sesotho to English.
 

Inherent requirements:

  • Relevant B-degree.
  • Language proficiency in Sesotho.
 

Required competencies:

  • Computer literacy.
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to function with ease in the University's richly diverse working environment.
  • Punctuality.
  • Self-organised.
  • Understand “Mediational intervention for sensitizing care givers” (MISC).
 

The following criteria apply to the selection of candidates:

  • Not currently participating in an existing learnership /internship programme.
  • Willing to sign a learnership / internship agreement with the UFS.
  • Candidate must be available for a period of one (1) year.

Assumption of duties:
1 May 2017.

5 May 2017.
