Junior Regulatory Officer - Multinational Chemical Company

My client is an international producer for plastics products. They have offices worlwide, employing a couple thousand people. To support their growth, they are looking for a relatively junior candidate, with initial regulatory experience, looking to progress and grow in an international company.

You will have a broad position, being responsible for:

• Compliance, specific for REACH, assuring compliance at all times
• Answering customer questions
• Advising other departments (Sales, R&D, Marketing,...) on regulatory issues and making sure that all procedures are followed, concerning this
• Stay up to date with the relevant EU regulations, translating these in day to day practice for the company

You will be responsible for many different things, allowing you to learn a lot and expand your skill-set. At the same time you will join a company that really supports their employers, giving you future growth opportunities.

To be successful:

• Solid scientific background (chemistry, Toxicology, Biology,...)
• Knowledge of English, Dutch is preferred
• Initial regulatory knowledge is a bit pre (REACH, SDS, CLP, GHS, ADR, Biocides,...). But also strong graduates with relevant (academic or internship) experience could be considered.
• Living in Belgium or willing to relocate
• Valid Work Permit
