Senior Engineer - medical device - Fareham - IEC 60601

An exciting opportunity has arisen within the medical testing department in a global testing and product certification company. The purpose of this role is to carry out the Medical safety testing and helping client achieved medical compliance for a range of medical devices.

What will the role entail?

• Support CAPA activities from a compliance perspective.
• Experience with IEC 60601 and also ISO 14971
• Supporting client meetings , customer queries and pricing up packages
• Creating and delivering training for the team
• Support and mentor of junior member of the team.
• Managing, developing and implementing business measures which monitor the performance and drive continuous improvement in a cost effect manner to achieve business excellence.
• Contributing to investigations into adverse quality trends.

Qualifications.

• An engineering or science based degree would be ideal. - medical engineering is a pluss
• Previous experience testing active medical device
• Detailed understanding of IEC 60601 series and also ISO 14971 standards
• Relevant experience in a similar Quality, Compliance or Regulatory related role within a Medical Devices and / or Medicinal Product environment.
• Proven problem solving tools and techniques experience.
• Strong influencing and communication skills.
• Full driving licence
• MS office package
