Technical CQV Project MGR- £90k++

A rare opportunity has come up within a small Consultancy to join as a Project Manager specialising within CQV, and progress to Director/ Partner level in a very short space of time.

The role has been newly created for a highly experienced Project Manager with a technical CQV/ Commissioning, qualification, validation background to join the company at Director level and be a critical part of growing the business.

It is a chance for someone who has maybe been contracting primarily and now looking for the opportunity to be part of something special.

This role is with one of our long term clients, and they have been looking to grow the business for some time. They have successfully hired Technical Engineers for utilities and validation but now a more senior and very exciting position has come up.

The position will still be technical leadership position for Commissioning, Qualification and Validation but it will also focus heavily on Project Management and Business Development.

Our client has been established for just over 10 years and 2018 has been identified as "the year that the breaks come off!" With that being said it is important to have the right management in place to be at the forefront of the growth.

As it stands they have a devoted MD/ Owner, and 2 Technical Directors; this position will be at Director Level also. They have about 15 engineer's n the business and varying contractor presence.

It is the ideal role for a contractor who is now looking for a long term role; that is both financially and professionally rewarding. It offers long term stability and the opportunity to be a part of something massively rewarding.

Key responsibilities-

• Act as a senior member of management for the business involved in all aspects of strategic, operational and technical management.
• Coordinate & lead cross functional project teams for the Installation, Commissioning & Qualification based on planned timelines and scope.
• Recruitment
• Business strategy
• Business Development.
• Travel (Europe wide) as needed

Key requirements-

• Bachelor of Engineering or Science Degree in Engineering or Technology related discipline.
• Minimum of 6-8 years' experience in construction QA, commissioning and/or validation on an automated/ pharmaceutical manufacturing environment.
• Good knowledge of the Life Cycle Management Process on the qualification of regulated systems in the Life Sciences Industry
• Previous experience with commissioning/qualification of the following facility utilities is essential, cleanrooms, HVAC, utilities, autoclaves.Experience leading/ working in a Project Manager position
• Project Management qualification
• Degree in a life science or engineering discipline
• Business development/ commercial awareness
