The childhood leukemia research group is seeking a highly motivated and career-oriented postdoctoral fellow to complement our team at the Department of Biomedicine of the University Children's Hospital in Basel/Switzerland.

Your assignments

The post-doctoral researcher will establish and functionally characterize models of genetic alterations that are involved in the development, maintenance and relapse of blood cancer (Stavropoulou et al., Cancer Cell, 2016; Picaud et al., Cancer Research, 2015).

Your profile

PhD and/or MD-PhD in biology, biochemistry or genetics. The potential candidate must be experienced in basic techniques of cellular and molecular biology, biochemistry and animal (mouse) experimentation. Practical knowledge in functional genomics including bioinformatics data mining is a plus. We also expect interest and active contribution of supervision and guidance of (under) graduate students.
