Work in a Local Authority with a Very Stable Management Team
A forward thinking Local Authority based in London is seeking an experienced Social Worker to join their Family Support team. This is an excellent opportunity to work within a team which works directly with children and their families to help prevent further breakdown of relationships.
The post will see you take incoming referrals from either the public or the MASH team and carry out assessments on a case by case basis. You will also be providing service users access to partner agencies throughout the authority for further support and guidance as to how they are able to improve their current situation.
This assignment is with an authority which provides plenty of opportunity to develop your career; there are options to take on specialist training where you can choose to either go down the Management, Practice Educator or Auditor pathways. You will also be supported by your manager as well as the newly formed Practice Development team who are able to provide guidance on cases.
To be considered for this post you should ideally have experience within a similar team. Experience within Referral and Assessment or Children in Need is essential.
