Instrument Technician, W.Midlands, £30K

We are currently working with an established Chemical Manufacturing company. They have a highly skilled maintenance team and are looking to add an Electrical and instrumentation Engineer to the team, in the West Midlands

The successful Instrumentation Engineer will be given the opportunity to work on varied projects involving PPM, installation and calibration.

This role will be very technical and give you an opportunity to build on your existing skill set, the anticipated growth of the company means they are interested in engineers with drive and initiative, in addition to the ability to work very well as part of a team.

The training and development on offer with the company mean they are open to considering a range of candidates who have exposure to instrumentation in a regulated industry.

The ideal instrument engineer will have:

• Exposure to COMAH/DSEAR environment (process industries)
• Completed COMPEX modules.
• EHS background

Typical responsibilities:

• Diagnose and correct PLC associated problems.
• Electrical Instrumentation
• Record maintenance.
